Description

Esqueça bolos secos; este Bolo de maçã super cremoso derrete na boca, com uma umidade irresistível vinda das maçãs frescas. É o conforto em forma de fatia, perfeito para um café da tarde em família ou para um lanche aconchegante.

Ingredients

3 units medium Apples (Fuji or Gala)
1 1/2 cups Sugar (granulated or refined)
2 cups Wheat flour
3 units large Eggs
1/2 cup Vegetable oil (sunflower or corn)
1/2 cup Milk
1 tablespoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamo
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
To taste Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples well. Remove seeds and core, but no need to peel. Cut them into small cubes and set aside
  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a round bundt pan (approximately 24 cm in diameter)
  3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy. Add the oil and vanilla extract, mixing well
  4. Sift the wheat flour and cinnamon over the liquid mixture. Gently fold in, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour. Mix only until the flour disappears, to avoid overdeveloping the glute
  5. Add the chopped apples to the batter and mix gently. Finally, add the baking powder and mix carefully, just to incorporate it
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clea
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes before unmolding. Unmold onto a wire rack to cool completely. If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving

Notes

Choose firm, slightly sweet apples like Fuji, Gala, or Golden. Granny Smith also works for a tart contrast.

Do not peel the apples; the skin adds fiber, color, and moisture.

Do not overmix the batter once flour is added, to prevent a dense cake.

Test doneness with a toothpick; avoid opening the oven before 30 minutes.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerated for up to 5 days, well covered.

Reheat individual slices in the microwave (15-30 seconds) or oven (150°C for 5-10 minutes).

For variations, substitute part of the flour with whole wheat, use brown sugar, add nuts, raisins, chocolate chips, or ginger powder. Pears can replace apples. A simple cream cheese frosting can be added.
